Jimmy Carpenter of Middlesex, North Carolina, has only been on the automotive customization scene for about five years-but he’s certainly gotten up to speed fast!
He purchased this ’06 Ford new and only performed a few modifications during his first year of ownership. But in the past two years, Jimmy decided to build an all-out show truck. The result has netted him several Best of Show awards at big events, and lots of shiny trophies from smaller local shows. It’s easy to see why.
Kelderman’s air-ride suspension is one of the key features on the truck, and not only does the 14- to 18-inch lift make the Ford look monstrous, it affords a supple ride. The ability to run 41-inch Super Swampers was definitely a consideration when the lift kit was selected.
